1. What is this feature?
Previously, when you opened AI Recommendation for a job, the system only suggested up to 15 best-matching candidates. For hard-to-fill roles, those first 15 candidates were sometimes not enough to build a usable shortlist, and the only way to find more was to re-post the job or search manually.
With the See More Candidates feature (Refresh), you can ask the AI to find additional candidates directly on your existing results, without re-posting the job or searching manually. Key highlights:
• Get up to 30 additional candidates across 2 Refresh runs, raising the total pool to up to 45 candidates per job.
• On each Refresh, you can keep the original job description (JD) criteria or customize it, including filtering by up to 3 cities.
• The AI runs in the background — you don’t need to wait on screen; you’ll get an email once new candidates are ready.
• Duplicate candidates are automatically removed; all candidates are ranked by the AI’s match score.
• The feature is already included in your existing AI service, at no extra cost.
2. Who can use it?
The See More Candidates feature only applies to jobs using an AI service — specifically, jobs with AI Solution service or Job Post AI. If your job already shows AI Recommendation, you can use this feature right away with no sign-up or setup required — the See More Candidates button will automatically appear on the AI Recommendation results screen.
Note: This feature is not available on jobs that do not use an AI service (i.e., jobs without AI Recommendation).
3. Is there an extra charge?
No. This is added value included in the AI service (AI Solution service or Job Post AI) you already have — it is not a new product or package, and there is no add-on fee.
4. Step-by-step guide
Follow the steps below to get new candidates for your job:
Step 1. Open an AI-powered job and review the first 15 recommended candidates
Go to the Job section on VietnamWorks ATS and select a job that uses AI Recommendation. The system will display the 15 best-matching candidates recommended by the AI.
Step 2. Click the “See More Candidates (N left)” button
This button is located in the top-right corner of the results screen, next to the job title. The number of runs remaining is shown right on the button, for example “2 left”.

Step 3. Choose your search criteria in the pop-up
A pop-up window will appear for you to set the search criteria for this Refresh run:
• Use JD-based criteria: keeps the same criteria as the original job description.
• Use JD and advanced criteria: lets you further customize the candidates’ job-seeking status (Actively looking & Open to work, or All candidates), how recently their profile was updated, and their desired work location (up to 3 cities).
Location defaults to the job’s location, but you can change it freely — for example, a job in Hanoi can still be refreshed to find candidates in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Refresh pop-up: keep JD-based criteria or customize, set job-seeking status, and choose up to 3 cities.
Step 4. Click “Suggest Candidates (X left)” to start
After setting your criteria, click the orange button in the bottom-right of the pop-up. A short loading screen will bring you back to your job list — you don’t need to wait, the AI will keep searching in the background while you continue with other work.
Step 5. Get an email and review the new candidates
Once the AI has finished, you’ll receive a notification email. Click through the email to return to the job’s results page.
• “New” tab: shows only the candidates just found in this Refresh run.
• “All” tab (Recommended Candidate History): shows your full pool of candidates, up to 45, all ranked by the AI’s score.
If you still need more candidates and still have runs left, repeat Steps 2 through 5. Once all 3 runs are used (1 initial + 2 Refresh runs), the “See More Candidates” button will be disabled (grayed out) for that job.
Once all runs are used, the “See More Candidates” button no longer appears on the job’s results screen.
5. Frequently Asked Questions
How many times can I Refresh for one job?
Answer: Each job has 3 candidate-suggestion runs in total: 1 initial run (15 candidates) and 2 Refresh runs (up to 15 more candidates each), for a maximum pool of 45 candidates. The number of runs remaining is always shown on the “See More Candidates” button.
If I extend my job posting, do my Refresh runs reset?
Answer: No. Runs are tied to each individual job (by job ID) and do not reset when you extend the posting period.
Can I search for candidates in a specific city?
Answer: Yes. When you choose custom criteria, you can select up to 3 cities. This is a hard filter — the system only returns candidates located in the cities you’ve selected. You can choose cities different from the job’s original location.
Will I see candidates I’ve already been shown before?
Answer: No. Each Refresh run only adds candidates that are completely new and have not appeared in your list before. All candidates are ranked by the AI’s score.
Do I have to stay on the screen while the AI searches?
Answer: No. After you submit, the system immediately returns you to your job list so you can keep working. The AI processes in the background and will email you once new results are ready.
Which jobs does this apply to, and when does it start?
Answer: The feature applies to jobs using an AI service (AI Solution service or Job Post AI) and is enabled automatically, with no additional setup required. If you’re unsure whether your job is eligible, or you don’t see the “See More Candidates” button, please contact VietnamWorks Customer Support to check your specific job.
